1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way. Some are removed when you close the browser; others stay for a set time.
2. Strictly necessary
These keep the website and the platform working and need no consent.
Sign-in session (local storage): keeps you signed in to the Ordein platform.
Cookie choice (local storage): remembers whether you chose “Essential only” or “Accept all”.
Language (cookie “ordein_locale”, one year): remembers the language you picked on this website.
Language suggestion (local storage): remembers that you dismissed the suggestion to view the site in your language.
3. Partner referrals
If you arrive through a partner’s link, the partner’s code is kept in your browser’s local storage for 90 days, so the partner is credited if you sign up. It stays on your device and contains no personal data.
4. Optional: live chat
Our live chat (Intercom) sets its own cookies. It loads only if you choose “Accept all”, or when you open the chat yourself from the chat button.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.
5. Your choices
The cookie banner offers two equally easy options: “Essential only” and “Accept all”. To change your choice later, clear this website’s data in your browser settings and the banner will ask again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop the platform from working.
